Volunteer Power! We need YOU!
Please sign up for any time slots that you wish to take. You can sign up for multiple shifts, even though the time of the last 2 shifts overlaps slightly. You get $5 Market bucks for each shift that you do! This can be spent at the Market for snacks, dinner or whatever you wish to purchase! You may wish to sign up for more than one shift on any given day.
When you arrive at the Market, check in with Mary Beth, the Market Manager (wearing a red apron). If you cannot make your shift, please let us know ASAP by e-mail us at therockwoodfarmersmarket@gmail.com so that we may remove your name and find a replacement. If it is last minute, it is better to phone/text 226-337-4343 (market phone). Thanks!
The RFM operates almost completely on volunteer power!
We welcome both adults and youth age 12 and older to volunteer with the Rockwood Farmers’ Market.
Do you have a special skill or passion that you can offer the market?
Would you like to lend a hand to help in your community?
Would you like to get to know some members of your community, or learn some new skills?
Can you offer even as little as one hour of your time to lend a hand?
We have various roles available to volunteers, with training available.
Youth volunteers in grade 8 and high school may accumulate their volunteer hours by helping at the market!
We can also provide references for future job application.
